Bethany Dental Group has been caring for families from Bethany and the surrounding communities for over 40 years. Bethany Dental Group is a small, friendly, private practice offering upscale dentistry with a hometown feel! 

We are located at 6301 NW 23rd Street in Bethany, OK., between N. MacArthur Blvd. and N. Rockwell Ave; close to I-40 and downtown OKC.

Dr. Matthew Maune

Dr. Matthew Maune was born in Oklahoma City and raised in El Reno, Oklahoma, where he graduated from high school in 1998. He completed his undergraduate degrees in Business Administration and Bachelors in Science from the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Maune continued his education at the postgraduate level with a Masters's and Ph.D. in Microbiology from OU. During his graduate career, he won various awards and accolades for his research. Following his graduate work, Dr. Maune was admitted to the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery.

Since graduating from dental school, Dr. Maune has strived to provide the most personal and professional dental experience for every one of his patients. He expands his knowledge and skills by attending continuing education courses that allow his patients to receive the most comprehensive and cutting-edge dental experience.

Dr. Maune is a member of the Oklahoma Dental Association, American Dental Association, the Oklahoma Academy of General Dentists, and the American Society for Microbiology. Dr. Maune has two wonderful daughters, Averee and Madeline. Though his favorite activity is playing with them, he also enjoys traveling, fishing, running, and spending time with friends and family.


Sarah O’Connor, BSRDH

Sarah O’Connor BSRDH became a provider at Bethany Dental group in 2022. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2022. Sarah served as the Dental Hygiene Chair Vice President for the Student American Dental Hygiene Association (SADHA). She is a current member of the American Dental Hygiene Association (ADHA). Sarah has been a certified lead clinical chair-side dental assistant with the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) for over fifteen years.

Sarah has traveled across the state of Oklahoma, assisting multiple dentists while learning to adapt to various dental offices. Sarah has a long-standing background and a wealth of dental knowledge from the front office to the clinical chairside. In addition, Sarah has served her community by attending several events held by Missions of Mercy throughout the years, volunteering over 250 hours. Sarah upholds the most professional and highest standard of care for all her patients.

Sarah is happily married to her best friend, Eric, for five years. They share two beautiful children. The O’Connor family is active in the North Macarthur Church of Christ family and strives daily to live healthy, happy lives. Sarah and her family continue to live in the Mustang community, where she graduated from High School in 2008. “Go, Broncos!”

Dr. Shane Fehrenbach

Dr. Shane Fehrenbach was born in the heart of Oklahoma City and graduated from Bishop McGuinness high school in 2005. He then attended the University of Oklahoma, graduating with a bachelors of science in dental hygiene in 2011. He also has been a yearly volunteer at the Oklahoma mission of mercy and worked at Good Shepherd Dental Clinic on underprivileged patients. Shane then had a calling to continue his educational career, graduating from the University of Oklahoma with his doctorate of dental surgery in 2022. After graduation spent time continuing his education, becoming certified in Invisalign.

In his free time Shane enjoys spending time with his family and friends, hiking, and is an avid football fan. He also loves spending time with his beloved Siberian Husky best friend, Jed.

Shane attributes his love and passion for dentistry to the time his parents spent instilling its importance to him when he was very young. He says he has always enjoyed going to the dentist, which is his goal for each of his own patients."
